International superstar, Alex Boye, son of Nigeria, West Africa is a unifier and a bridge builder. His tireless energy, boundless positivity and love of humanity is intoxicating. His music is heartfelt and timely.

We are delighted to be working with Alex to help us in our cause to support Refugees through Soccer. We had planned to do the concert at Rio Tinto following a Real Monarchs match but we were hit by a very sudden and insurmountable challenge a couple of days ago which forced us to scramble to keep our plans for the concert intact.

As we’ve learned in our social impact work helping others is RARELY easy and NEVER without challenges but ALWAYS worth it!

And if anyone can make Lemonade out of Lemons it’s Alex Boye! Thanks to Dan Farr and ComicCon associates we were able to change the venue for the concert to be held at ComicCon SLC at the Salt Palace at the exact same date and time as the original concert! Saturday, September 3 at 9PM.

We are truly grateful to Dan’s team for accommodating us so late in the game and allowing us to still have our concert to help serve our local refugees!

This concert is all about getting to know and supporting the 60,000 refugees living here in Utah. Alex will be singing some of his greatest hits including his new mind-opening, impactful song, “We All Bleed The Same.” (See video below.)

We really appreciate your support and understanding through this challenge (aka big pile of sour lemons) and look forward to seeing you Saturday, September 3rd at 9PM with Alex.

We are still only charging $10 per ticket to celebrate refugees and inspire people to engage in serving them more as we overcome our differences and unite. (Tickets are $10)

If you have already paid for ComicCon, you can come to the concert by donating whatever you want as an entrance fee. (This only applies to ComicCon ticket holders.)

If you are coming for the Alex Boye concert, tickets are $10. You can purchase tickets here and present printed ticket at the door.

Remember: A portion of the ticket sales goes directly to supporting the newly launched effort of BRIDGES to bring together Refugee youth and Mainstream youth through their shared love of soccer called Refugee Soccer. Check it out here.
